Enabling Case‑Note Email Notifications (Care Worker)
Step-by-Step Guide
1 Log in and reach the dashboard
Sign in with your Planaji email and password; you’ll be taken to the main dashboard after a successful login.
2 Open your profile menu
Click the button in the top‑right corner that shows your name and avatar to display the profile drop‑down.

3 Go to Settings
Select Settings from the profile menu to open the personal‑preferences screen.

4 Enable “Receive Case Note Email”
Locate the Receive Case Note Email toggle (under the “Add?” section) and switch it ON to activate email alerts for new case notes.

5 Save the change
Press Save at the bottom of the Settings page; confirm the action by clicking Okay in the pop‑up dialog.
6 Automatic email receipt
From now on, every time a case note is added through the Care Worker app you will receive an email with the note attached as a PDF.

7 Default PDF file naming
The attached PDF is named automatically as [participant‑name]_[shift‑date]_case_note.pdf (e.g., Jane‑Doe_2025‑04‑13_case_note.pdf).
8 Open the attached PDF
Open the email and click the case_note.pdf attachment to view the full case‑note content on your device.

9 Completion
You have successfully set up case‑note email notifications; you can toggle the setting on or off anytime from Settings.
